Tent and Table Now Has a West Coast Distribution Center
For many years, Tent and Table’s weakest link for customers on the west coast has been shipping. Sending products from our facilities here in Buffalo, New York to the west coast was costly; it drove up costs and products took an excessively long time to arrive. But thankfully, TNT now has a new west coast distribution center to alleviate these headaches.
Situated in Salt Lake City, TNT’s new warehouse facility allows us to deliver products faster and cheaper than ever before. Most (but not all) customers will see deliveries in just two or three business days. And parcel and freight shipping will now be a lot less expensive, too!
The new facility has already processed hundreds of orders. However, it may take some time for the west coast distribution center to be fully stocked. Some items cannot yet be shipped from Salt Lake City and will still need to be processed and shipped from our original distribution center in Buffalo. But hopefully soon, TNT will see both our Buffalo and our Salt Lake City facilities handling every type of order we ship.
Opening a new warehouse was challenging, especially the planning and technical aspects. But we believe it’s entirely worth it to be able to improve our delivery speeds, reduce shipping rates, and offer significantly improved service to our west coast customers.
More Warehouses Coming Soon!
We’d like to see our products reach the vast majority of US residents within two business days. That’s no small feat, but it’s a serious goal we’re working hard to complete. And that means only having two facilities isn’t going to cut it.
Our Buffalo and Salt Lake City distribution centers are only the beginning. We’re planning two more facilities as well, in Florida and Texas, to be opened in the near future. Together with our Buffalo HQ, our four distribution centers will allow Tent and Table to fulfill orders quickly from every corner of the contiguous United States.
