Happy Mother’s Day!
This has been a tough year for parents. Those of us who are lucky enough to work from home during the Coronavirus pandemic are juggling work tasks and childcare responsibilities. We’re filling out spreadsheets and filling up lunch plates. We’re taking Zoom calls with coworkers one minute and teachers the next. And all of that effort should go noticed and should be appreciated, this Mother’s Day perhaps more than any other.
Watching moms—my wife, my sister, my own mom, my mother-in-law, and the countless coworker moms I work with daily—has been nothing short of inspirational. Balancing out childcare and work tasks and taking on whatever each new day throws their way … I’m sure I’m not the only dad out there who watches moms do all they do and wonder how they get through it all.
To all of the moms reading this, thank you sincerely for all of the incredible, awe-inspiring work you do each and every day. Thank you for the sacrifices you make so willingly. Thank you for showing us strength day by day and lending it to those around you.

We all know it’s difficult finding flowers or booking visits to spas, and all the other things you deserve. But here’s hoping the people who love and care about you the most are able to find ways of showing you their appreciation for all you do in their own unique ways.
