The 2019 Christmas Traditions Poll from Tent and Table

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Tent and Table!

It’s the day before Christmas, and all through our office … well, not much rhymes with “office,” so let’s just skip trying to create a poem, shall we?

Being that it’s Christmas Eve, I was tasked today with writing a holiday blog. At first, I was going to do a boilerplate piece on Christmas traditions, similar to the piece I did for Thanksgiving. But after chatting with a few coworkers, I came to realize that those traditions vary from one home to the next. So it got me thinking: what sorts of traditions do we have in common, and which traditions make us all different?

To find out, I decided to make a reasonably brief poll. It gives you something to do while you wait for your holiday entree to cook, and it gives us some interesting insights into how everyone celebrates the holidays.

This poll is for funsies. It’s pretty pointless. We’re not really going to break down and analyze this data. It’s just interesting to see how people respond and to find out which traditions are the most popular. And if this poll is well received, maybe we’ll start doing more holiday polls, rather than standard holiday blogs that aren’t typically read.

From all of us here at Tent and Table, we’d like to wish you and your family a happy holiday and a very merry Christmas. Our offices will be closed on December 25th as we’ll all be celebrating with our families. We’ll be open again on Thursday with regular business hours. We’ll see you then!
